Tax Exemptions can be defined at two different levels.
Product Level
At the department (Product) level, define if a specific department is exempt from sales tax or fuel tax. In that case, the system will not apply taxes defined as sales or fuel tax at the group level.
Customer Level
Define an exemption for a specific customer. Each exemption is limited to a time period and can apply on all taxes, on a specific tax group, and even on a specific product or use. The customer can have multiple exemptions applied to their account.
