The system uses Degree Day Regions for the degree day input performed before entering tickets. The Degree Day Region allows for one Division with different types of climates so there are different readings for each half of the Division. For example, a Division can be set up with half of the Division in the desert and the other half in the mountains. When performing the Degree Day input, enter the Division and the Degree Day Region. Set up a different code for each Degree Day Region track. Degree Day Regions are tied to a customer on the Tank Information window.
- On the Degree Day Region Maintenance window, select Create to enter a new Degree Day Region code. To change a Degree Day Region, select the Degree Day Region and make any necessary changes.
- Enter the Division the Degree Day Region is assigned.
- In the DD Region field, enter a unique identifier for the Degree Day Region. The Degree Day Region can be up to four numeric characters.
- In the Name field, enter a description for the Degree Day Region.
- Select Save.
