The system uses Recurring Billing to apply a fixed charge on a regular basis to a customer’s account. Recurring charges can be any type of recurring monthly charge. Ex: A monthly fee for reading a meter or a monthly fee for appliance service contracts.
Once the Recurring Billing Maintenance Setup is complete, recurring billing fees can be applied to customers. Customers will need to be set up in the Billing Entry file with the appropriate Billing Code and Pricing Tier before processing the Recurring Billing File.
