- Navigate to Main Menu / Posting Menu / Mobile Device Posting.
- Select Mobile Device Posting.
- Choose Post Re-Engineered ET.
- When the posting routine is selected, it automatically starts posting all of the zip files downloaded from the handheld units.
While processing, it does the following:
- Creates a Sales Posting Journal using EnergyTrack Sales Journal (ETSJ) and/or a Payment Journal using EnergyTrack Posting Journal (ETPJ) as the User ID.
- Assigns the next available journal number.
- Imports the Trip Report number from the handheld to the journal.
- Creates a backup of the zip file when it finishes posting including the date and time stamp.
Note: This relieves the issue of renaming duplicate trips to the same file name which can stop the posting routine. - Updates Tank Information with regard to K-Factors, Degree Days, Schedules, etc.
- Updates the contract file.
- Updates EnergyMap by removing scheduled deliveries that have been completed and applies geocodes to tanks delivered to if the handheld records geographic coordinates.
- Updates the Call In screen by removing deliveries that have been completed.
ETSJ journals are listed along with the Trip ID on the Trip report from the handheld. If using the Panasonic U1 Toughbooks with Re-Engineered EnergyTrack, select View Trip Report located in the bottom right area of the menu and then select Print.
Note: If there are issues with Julian Schedule during the posting process, an exception report can be found at Management Reports / Exception Report Menu / Julian Posting Exceptions. It is recommended this report runs on a weekly basis to ensure that all Julian Schedules are addressed as necessary.
