Cenex AFD delivers fuel to customer tanks based on monitor levels and call-in orders. Daily and Monthly files are generated from the Cenex AFD website and placed into Energy Force’s root directory. Energy Force AFD Processing imports and processes the Daily and Monthly delivery files and applies the proper department codes, pricing, and fees within a matter of minutes.
AFD Price Option 2 Summary
AFD Price Option 2 reads the Cenex AFD delivery file for the base price per gallon, total freight, and delivery charges. All other applicable fees such as excise tax, leak tax, inspection fees, and etc. are maintained in the AFD Maintenance table and applied to the gallons at the time of processing. Margins from the Energy Force price file are applied at the time of import processing.
Price codes established in the price maintenance menu for Price Option 2 do not need to be modified for price fluctuations because Energy Force will apply pricing directly from the Cenex AFD file. However, Margins associated to the price codes will need to be updated via the Update Margins Utility program should they ever need to change.
