Energy Track allows Drivers to update the Prices on Contract Overage Gallons. RET Option 42 is automatically added the first time a download is created or by accessing the RET Options at Supervisor Menu / Maintenance Menu / Energy Track Menu / Re-Engineered Energy Track. This option defaults to N. Update to Y to allow drivers to change contract overage prices.
When the Energy Track Ticket or Invoice is finalized on a delivery that involves a contract overage, the Select Overage Price window displays allowing the driver to select the price to be used on the overage gallons.
- Contract Price - If a delivery rolls through two contracts, the Contract Price selection will be the price of the second contract.
- Daily Price
- Other

If Other price is selected, prior to updating the price from the $0.0000 that is displayed, the user will receive an Invalid Price message, stating the price must be greater than 0. Enter a valid price and confirm the verification to return to the Select Overage Price window.
After selecting which price to use, the driver will receive a Verify Selection message stating which selection was chosen. Giving the option to continue with the selection by choosing Yes or going back to the selection list by selecting No.
The overages, where the price does not match the Daily Price, will display on the Energy Track Price/Dept Override report. This report is located at Management Reports / Exception Report Menu. Deliveries with contract overages made prior to version 19.2.0.0 will show on the report as $0.00 for the original price.
If a Price Type 2 price code is on the contract and there is a contract overage, the Driver will not be prompted to select the Overage Price. The overage gallons will be priced at the regularly figured price and will not appear on the Energy Track Price/Dept Override report.
